If one has to believe the tabloids out there Zuchu could be plotting her way out of WCB.
While most artists leave for artistic reasons, Zuchu could be dumping WCB for personal reasons that could be sneaking into her musical career.
It isn’t about freeing herself from artistic and visionary nooses.
No such thing but her private life has ceased to be private with “Masham Shamu” show that is owned by Wasafi FM. This article reviews the issues at hand and draws its own findings over the saga.
Presenters of “Masham shamu” show these days have made Zuchu rumoured relationship with Diamonds Platnumz as their new cannon fodder.
Under the tutelage of Juma Lokole, Zuchu claims she has been facing cyber abuse and bullying amounting into character assassination.
At the heart of this potential legal assault is what is being said in this show that suggests it is Zuchu not Diamonds Platnumz who is pushing for marriage!
This is what hurts Zuchu the most. She claims she has no intention of forcing Diamond Platinumz to marry her and all the hullabaloo is the fickle imagination of Juma Lokole and his supporting cast.
She felt she is being degraded every day in that “Masham Shamu” show.
Prior to the concerted Mashamushamu exclusive revelations there was another seemly unrelated episode touching on Mama Dangote who spelt out the qualifications of whoever will be his son’s wife.
Mama Dangote is a biological mom of the musical sensational Diamonds Platnumz.
She minced no words when she said the daughter in-law ought to respect her family, where they came from and know that they depend on her son.
My assessment of Mama Dangote’s criteria led me to suspect she was insecure and anxious that a gold digger may charm her way into her son’s heart, severing the umbilical cord between her and the celebrity.
Mama Dangote has weathered many storms with her son Diamond Platinumz’s love life.
The first was Wema Sepetu. Many including myself hoped that the couple was going somewhere but whatever wrecked is unclear.
The two who had the potential to become power couple amicably parted ways.
Mama Dangote has been reminiscing on that relationship gone bad as one of the best. Diamond Platnumz moved in with the Ugandan socialite Zari Boss Lady.
Again we thought the two were going to be a power couple and everything looked set for that.
Who will forget the duet’s “white parties” conducted in Dar-es-Salaam under the management of Ruge Mutahaba (now deceased).
We were bombarded in the news gutter that the “white parties” had deepened their pockets. Diamonds Platnumz later accused the organizer Ruge of dishonesty.
Looks like Ruge had pocketed more than he had anticipated. Zari never squeaked anything about the distribution of that cash. Later the duo bought a spatial home in South Africa.
Some suspected it was funded by the proceeds of the “white parties” However, after the split both acknowledged it belonged to Diamonds Platnumz.
With a bated breath, we were waiting for wedding bells to ring but didn’t. Before we knew it, Zari sent Diamond Platnumz a digital black rose in his instagram account on his birthday. She also unfollowed him. We knew it was over.
Zari was garlanded with at least eight
millions of Instagram followers a gratitude of her rendezvous with Tanzanian soloist megastar, Diamonds Platnumz.
Much later Zari expounded how Diamonds Platnumz was cheating on her, and that she couldn’t take anymore.
The two went their separate ways, in one of those moments of reckoning, of mama Dangote birthday parties.
Mama Dangote was seen feeding Zari with her left hand. Netizens drew their own conclusions that she didn’t want Zari in her family. Using your left hand to feed anybody is considered an act of disrespect within the African yores.
Looks like mama Dangote doesn’t want any love in her son’s life to mull over marriage. She feels she may ultimately lose her son, and the bread that goes with it.
Many in the netizen world suggested falsely or otherwise it was mama Dangote who pulled the plug in the fallout between Zari and Diamonds, and other ladies of repute.
Then in a blink of an eye, Kenyan media queen Tanasha came knocking and it was an engagement party that razed everything.
Diamonds Platnumz was rumoured to have spoilt it with his dalliance with one lady on the very day of engagement!
On the birthday of mama Dangote and Tanasha who share the same birthday the former was given a fancy car as a birthday present by her famous son while the latter despite being pregnant with Diamonds Platnumz child was given a name that was later known to have been rented!
Tanasha had expected an engagement ring placed by Diamonds Platnumz on her immaculate finger. It didn’t happen. Mama Dangote told Tanasha that “….mizimu imekupenda sana lakini buta subira….hili jambo bado…”
Mama Dangote exploiting her superstitious beliefs she just told Tanasha on that day she was expecting too much despite her pregnancy.
Tanasha knew it was time to move on.
She went back to Kenya, delivered her son, but kept coming back for more of the same.
Some suspect mama Dangote could have been secretly inviting Tanasha and her son to throw cold water on “baby come back” perspirations of Zari while reminding Zuchu that Diamonds Platnumz was not really single. He has filial responsibility to put up with.
Zuchu, who herself grew up in a polygamous family, is unperturbed with multiple partner relationships. She has affirmed so in some of her songs.
Before Zuchu had openly stepped into Diamonds Platnumz life there was a WCB employee called Aliyah who too was rumoured to be dating Diamonds Platnumz. Later, Zuchu, who was a friend of Aliyah, booted her out. Zuchu in one of her hit songs called “jimbo lishachukuliwa” believed was written and sang with Aliyah in mind.
Zuchu’s relationship with mama Dangote family is confusing because on one hand Zuchu is a money minting machine but on the other she is fiercely independent to send shivers on the famous family.
Mama Dangote family fears a marital union of Diamonds Platnumz and Zuchu could close a lifeline of their major source of income. Zuchu is well exposed taking her Indian educated persona in stride and her blossoming musical talent that has gone global must inflict fear to the family.
Mama Dangote does not object to Zuchu being with her son so long as the two do not tie the knot.
As Diamonds Platnumz and Zuchu were closing in to a lifetime commitment, Juma Lokole and others like Baba Lelo ferociously castigated Zuchu.
My question has been, are they not under instruction from somewhere to throw a spanner in the works? Zuchu has threatened to sue Diamonds Platnumz and Wasafi FM meaning she perceives Diamonds Platnumz as either complicit or a perpetrator of her current humiliation.
But there is another angle worthy serious consideration. Zuchu and Diamonds Platnumz are also rumoured to be preparing for a blockbuster release of their latest album.
Could this be a bizarre way of promoting it? We know in the entertainment biz nothing sells like controversy. Are we not being prepared to binge their next album?
Time will help differentiate real from fiction.
